About five years ago, I began my love/collection for Fiesta. It is a great dinnerware to collect, simply because it is perfect for the china cabinet but can still with stand the everyday wear and tear. Plus can you really ever have too much fiesta? We had a customer come in a few months ago looking to replace her set that she has had for twenty years. I asked her if her plates had stood up to the test of time and she said "of course...I just want a set of the newer colors." If you are new to the Fiesta world, I will let you in on a few fun facts about the dinnerware. It is made in the USA (which unfortunately not too many things are these days), It is microwave, dishwasher, oven, and freezer save, too many colors to name, and when they retire they do become collector pieces. Another fun fact/secret is that Miss Emmily Antiques is a great place to get your fiesta. We offer many of the same things you can get in the big department stores. Actually, we sometimes offer more than you can get in those bigger stores. We carry your standard place settings, only we do not sell them as a set, we like to give our customers to option to mix and match. Currently, we have some of the following accessories; egg plates (which rumor has it they are not making anymore), pizza plats, large bowls, salt and pepper shakers, spoon rests, gusto bowls, soup bowls, pitchers, ramekin bowls and many more that I am probably forgetting. Another good thing about our store is we have a large stock of Fiesta and if we don't have it in the store we can probably have it for you the next time you come in. So save your money and worry on shipping and handling and support your local business! PS. I know we hate to hear it but Christmas is right around the corner and I speak from experience Fiesta is the PERFECT gift. Just for visiting our blog we would like to extend a savings out to you.
